Dynamic Yoga Retreats
Are you in need of a retreat designed to revitalize your body and de-stress your mind? Our aim is for you to return home brimming with energy and feeling renewed. Yoga and meditation practice bring countless benefits to all aspects of daily life and this retreat invites you to put these qualities first and may also trigger your desire for a regular home practice.
We provide homely accommodation, delicous vegetarian cuisine, morning and evening yoga classes, and the use of the sauna, hot tub and swimming pool. In the afternoons there is plenty of free time for massage and holistic therapies, or for simply relaxing with a good book, surrounded by the timeless natural beauty of the Alpujarra hills and valleys. Guests have unlimited use of mountain bikes, Jacuzzi and sauna.

Vegetarian Cuisine
Based on Mediterranean flavours, Kaliyoga's vegetarian cuisine is imaginative, healthy and well balanced. Meat eaters are usually astonished by the tasty rich flavours.
Fun Extras: optional activities and workshops can be arranged at nominal cost e.g. 5-rhythms dance party, Samba reggae dance class, superfood and raw food cookery class, Bhajan singing class, live music concert, guided mountain hikes, horse riding, afternoon at the beach.
What to Bring
a pool towel; cash for therapy sessions (euros); a pocket torch; flip flops/ thongs; some jeans and trainers in case you feel like going horse riding. | Typical Day
As the sun streams through your window you awake to the gentle ringing of Tibetan bells calling you to class. You make yourself a lemon and ginger tea and make your way down to the yoga studio, taking in the breathtaking mountain views. Then you begin an invigorating yoga session with your fellow guests. After class, the sumptuous aromas of brunch tempt you back to the house. You indulge in a hearty vegetarian meal on the sun terrace whilst Nicola discusses the options for holistic therapy treatments. After brunch many choices await you: you might immerse yourself into the hydro-massage spa to soothe away aching muscles, or have a sauna, or flop into a hammock to read. Or simply gaze into the mountains and contemplate your great oeuvre.
For the more active, a 30 minute stroll into brings you to shops, cash dispensers and an open air market. Or, you might prefer a game of scrabble in the shade of a parasol covered with vibrant green vines, drinking lemon and ginger tea and chatting to fellow guests. After all, this is not a hotel, but a yoga home, your home for the week, and you are free to enjoy it as you would your own.
Afternoons are the time to indulge in the realm of The Three Rs rest, relaxation, rejuvenation. Choose from full body massage, acupuncture, shiatsu, reflexology, Thai yoga massage
whatever you need, just ask.
In the evening your body is warm and pliant and a gentle yoga session beckons: an hour and a half of restorative asana practice and guided meditation.
The evening air is warm and sweet and you are ready for supper. Soft music and incense awaits you and a well-earned aperitif is served on the terrace with some vegetarian Spanish tapas. A generous three course supper is served and you have the chance to mingle again with your fellow guests, before rounding the evening off with Moroccan mint tea. When you are ready to retire, the sound of night crickets under a billion stars is sure to induce a night of blissful sleep.

Arrival time is from 14:00. We respectfully ask you not to be here earlier than this so that we can finish preparing the space for your arrival. The first yoga class is from 17:30- 19.00, followed by supper at 19:30pm.
